Coaching & Cultural Change

Jon is an executive coach and facilitator accredited by the Institute of Human Development and a certified Cultural Transformation Tools Practitioner. He has extensive experience working at Board and Senior Management level in both the Public and Private Sector, and has 18 years’ experience as a tutor at The Leadership Trust.

Using classic and advanced coaching techniques, Jon specialises in helping professionals bring out the best in themselves and their organisations. His approach enables clients to clarify their goals and work around obstacles to make the most of their talents. Jon also consults on cultural change within organisations.

Recent engagements have been in the IT, pharmaceutical, insurance, recorded music, educational and publishing industries, as well as with the Royal Air Force and the National Health Service.

Career History

Jon’s 25 year executive career was focused on leading major change programmes in the publishing industry, both in the UK and overseas:

  • Developed over 40 new overseas markets for the Torstar Corporation
  • Successfully prepared a declining consumer magazine business ready for sale
  • Managed the UK children’s publishing operation of a multi-national media conglomerate
  • Headed up European operations for Seattle-based MediaPassage
  • Was Turnaround Consultant for exhibitions and events company, ‘Business Intelligence’.
